Your questionnaire is programmed by IfaD’s experienced, multilingual team of programmers. You are allocated a personal contact partner who will design your questionnaire according to your specifications and in line with your corporate design. With its experience, our team can handle the most demanding of scripting challenges: multiple countries with differing requirements, complicated quota specifications and highly complex questionnaire navigation. It is your questionnaire. We design it based on your corporate design or that of your client, while we ourselves remain in the background.

Scripting is done by our team using CIS. This survey tool can handle all known question types. In addition, interactive question elements open up further possibilities for qualitative surveying and, when used in careful doses, also boost the acceptance and staying power of your respondents. Many HTML5 modules are integrated into CIS for the most varied of tasks.

Participant Management
Online surveys often require potential respondents to be invited via e-mail. Reminders are sent in order to boost the response rate.
E-mails, individual in all respects
To contact survey participants for online projects, we can create personalized mailings in all languages as mail-merge letters. The sender’s address can be freely defined, so that if desired the participants’ replies can also be sent directly to you.

Field Service with Partners
If you want to run an online or telephone survey and need a competent fieldwork partner, we can support you. We cooperate with many major panel operators and fieldwork agencies. If required we can obtain a selection of fieldwork bids for you.
Once the project has been commissioned, we undertake the questionnaire programming as well as the necessary detailed fieldwork coordination with the project managers at the panel operator or studio.
Hosting and Hardware
We assure the security of your project through failure-protected high-performance servers with multiply secured access controls, round-the-clock monitoring and independent emergency power supplies. The servers are designed with multiple redundancy and have direct access to the internet, so that many thousands of interviews can be processed rapidly and securely in parallel.
For CAPI projects we can provide you with tablets pre-installed with our CIS survey software. The devices are supplied with the questionnaire already loaded so that you can start interviewing right away. Questionnaires can be updated online at any time. If desired, we organize the transport of the tablets, and for overseas projects we can even handle the customs formalities for you.
Project Management
Through our online administration platform CISnet (a component of the CIS survey software) we can manage your entire project. We can set up the hierarchical structures for you, the access rights for the studios or panels involved at each respective project level, plus, if relevant, the personalized login data.
Regardless of the type of survey, we can code the open-ended responses in live mode. Codeframes are produced online in consultation with you. Tabulated coded open-ended questions are integrated into the overall table set, which you can access via the administration platform.
